coffee, trails and a life outdoors.

we’re anouche and tom.

most people know us through anom café club, our coffee company. others know us through anom adventure, our small creative agency and production company.

to be honest, we’ve never been very good at doing just one thing.

we roast coffee, create content, produce films, travel a lot and spend as much time as possible outside.

through anom adventure, we work with a few clients, mainly in southern africa, creating content and telling stories. along the way, we also started making films about our own adventures.

our latest film, pamir ballad, tells the story of our crossing of the pamir mountains and has recently been selected in several adventure and cycling film festivals. we’re already working on the next one. chances are it’ll involve long days outside and a pair of running shoes.

because whatever project we’re working on, it usually starts the same way: with the desire to explore.

running has become a huge part of our lives.

anouche is definitely the trail runner of the team. this year she won the trail du moucherotte and we’re both preparing for the mcc at utmb at the end of the summer. but races are only a small part of why we run.

most of our favourite memories have nothing to do with a finish line.

they’re the early morning runs before work. the long days in belledonne or chartreuse with friends. the spontaneous outings when we should probably be doing something else. the moments where nobody is really looking at their watch.

that’s probably why we feel so connected to 4t2.

the “running is ugly” mindset makes a lot of sense to us because it feels honest.

running isn’t always beautiful. sometimes you’re soaked, tired, cold, lost, underprepared or wondering why you signed up in the first place.

and somehow those are often the days you remember the most.

we love races because they give us goals and excuses to go on adventures. but what keeps us coming back is everything around them: the people, the landscapes, the shared suffering, the stories afterwards.

it’s the same philosophy that guides the way we travel, the way we make films and the way we’ve built our businesses.

we’re not really chasing performance.

we’re chasing experiences.

the kind you’ll still be talking about years later.
