why weekdays?
don’t believe in thinking ‘outside the box’. it is always there. deal with it. wake up earlier. get ready to go, gone running. weekday runs aren’t easy. they get squeezed. they’re always messy. and it felt better than your strava stats show. weekdays are a balance of your many priorities. essential. minimal and perfectly designed. geometry redefined to serve natural foot motion. our first 3 modular components coming to life. let’s go.
more to know...
weekdays. is gender neutral. this first version comes in a standard width and provides a bit more room in the forefoot. the heel counter is slightly softer than most running shoes. order your standard running shoe size (we are compatible with key brands on EU, US, UK sizing). the shoe provides a really smooth natural running experience. it is a neutral running shoe but provides a lot of stability through it's wider base, so it will work for many runners.
the tech talk:
weight: 323gr (eu 42,5 / us mens 9) / 3mm + 3mm = 6mm drop / stacks 18mm-24mm / dual density midsole layer / 'joie.' midsole 52 (shore c): neutral and stable / 'flow.' top layer 47 (shore c): softer for comfort / wide stable geometry / smooth rocker allowing for a more natural midfoot strike / grippy and durable carbon rubber outsole called 'road to nowhere.' / comfortable slightly more forgiving heel counter / high-rebound X40 ortholite insole with 20% recycled material / roomy forefoot / replaceable outsole to give your shoe a second life as a lawnmower or a dogwalker ;-)

The absolute best shoe!
Usually wear Saucony’s but wanted something more stable since knee surgery…I have honestly never worn a shoe so comfortable and great for running. Even on the first run, I forgot about the shoes - which says it all!
Already looking at their other shoes and 4T2 will be my only running shoe brand moving forward.
Thank you for such a great shoe; my feet (and knee) appreciate it!!
I’m absolutely blown away by the quality of the WEEKDAYS (new vintage white). The craftsmanship is exceptional, the materials feel truly premium, and the level of responsiveness is spot on. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I first got them, but they have quickly become one of the most comfortable yet responsive pairs of shoes I’ve ever worn. The attention to detail and the overall quality of the materials are simply astonishing. Highly recommended
Pumped on these. To be candid, after essentially detonating both ankles in a motocross race in ’19, I don’t have the cartilage left to run with any real consistency, so I’m not the right person to adjudicate the superlatives around “serious” running in them.
That said, I do gravitate toward stylish, comfortable runners for mornings with my pup, which inevitably involves a fair amount of walking. Given the aforementioned lack of cartilage, these proffer a welcome, well-cushioned platform while still presenting well aesthetically.
Nice work.

The background and my problem statement:
I would describe myself as a post-young-athlete. I've been training my whole life but only got into running the last 3 years or so. I've really struggled to find running shoes that suit me. I used to run exclusively in Altra. Following a tough time with my achilles (add too much pace and too much volume too quickly) I started my search for something that worked. And pretty much failed. Most shoes were too soft. And soft shoes make my ankles (my weak point) work too hard to stabilise and I end up with achilles issues again. I found a few shoes that worked. They tended to be firmer, wider and prioritise stability. I actually supinate not pronate, i.e. my ankles roll outwards.
My 4T2 experience:
I wasn't sure if I should start with Weekdays or Sundays. I get on with Asics Superblast 2 well and have a pair with plenty of life left in them so went with Weekdays as an option for faster, shorter runs.
When my package arrived, the care and attention with unboxing was amazing. The shoes look amaxing, the packaging and experience is awesome, love the hand written note :) But ... then I tried them on. Honestly, when I got them on my heart sank, they felt too firm. Even for someone who likes a firmer shoe. I was trying to justify keeping them as 'fashion shoe' cause they look so good but hey, the world is so expensive I decided to send them back.
I got in touch with customer services and had a great back and fourth with Dhiren. He said I could run in them (on a dry day and within sensible limits) and if I didn't like I could return. Top notch customer service.
This is my reaction that I sent to Dhiren, in bullet points cause that's how I roll:
- I wasn't expecting them to feel they did. WTF. Wow!
- They are 'super firm'. I think that is the correct description of them but that DOES NOT translate to a harsh ride as I expected.
- Trying them on in the house tells you nothing about how they feel when you run in them.
- They are super stable! That's key for me. They deliver big style here.
- They feel quite 'compliant', quite 'natural' they don't have a rocker geometry yet feel really smooth through transition.
- I quickly got used to them.
- When I run in them I find myself a lot more mindful and present in my running - they give a lot of feedback and keep you honest.
- I felt like they wanted me to go quicker and felt some urgency which makes me feel like they'll be fun on a tempo run.
- The day after I was expecting to feel a little sore as my feet and calves were doing a lot more work but they feel fine. But this was not as noticeable as I expected
- I am 100% keeping them!
- Also, they really work as a cross training shoe too - they are so stable that they feel great for squats and lunges and other gym work too. I wouldn't be going for squat PBs in them but if you're doing mixed modality workouts that involve running and other functional movements these are at least as good as Adidas Dropset Pro!
My advice:
- If you don't need a 'stability shoe' (i.e. anti-pronation) but stability is important in your shoe choice - try these.
- If you're sick of super-soft shoes and want to connect with the feeling of running more - try these.
- My advice would be to respect them though. There is less foam and the foam is way firmer than the majority of shoes. Take it easy and introduce them slowly (which is tough, cause they do make you want to run much faster!). Do some lower limb strength exercise (you know you should be doing this anyway!).
Hope this helps. Enjoy your run.

hi Mr! thanks for the extensive reporting, i just went through it entirely. your experience is exactly what we wanted to achieve with weekdays. not everyone's best friend and need some time to wear in but when you do..... you get it. personally i have been in the same situation as you, been an athlete, am a runner for years now, but struggled with soft shoes; they caused foot pain, achilles and calve inflamations. that is over 10 years ago now. i am ageing but have not had any injuries over the last decade and it is because i do work on lower leg strength, run in my own created shoes and alternate models and surface. wish you all the best mate. jurian, founder of 4T2.
Love style love the function. Love that the soles arent crazy thick like other brands here in the states!
The shoes look and feel fantastic- I initially ordered a size that compared to my Nike running shoes - 4t2 sizing is not the same.
Once I had the right size I knew this was a great shoe- light and comfortable.
Best running shoe I’ve ever tried. You can feel the quality and construction. I’m using them more for gym than running, and they are great. Firm and supportive enough. Glad I finally bought the weekdays.
